Daniel Riolo gives bold claim over Mbappé’s future amid Real Madrid links

The Kylian Mbappé transfer takes twists and turns daily; the latest has the 24-year-old remaining at Paris Saint-Germain. The Frenchman’s contract expires next summer, and he becomes a free agent.

RMC Sports pundit Daniel Riolo (h/t Mundo Deportivo) weighed in on the speculation surrounding Mbappé’s future. Riolo asserted that the French striker will remain at PSG for the 2023-24 season amid links to Real Madrid.

Additionally, Riolo does not rule out the possibility of Mbappé signing a short-term contract extension with PSG, which has been a topic of discussion for some time.

This option could secure a transfer fee for PSG in 2024, should the player decide to leave. If this agreement is reached, it could be a win-win situation for the player and the club. The Ligue 1 side would have a potential transfer fee while allowing Mbappé to evaluate his career trajectory.

Seeing how this saga plays out with the new season fast approaching will be interesting. Mbappé has a lot of power regarding whether he wants to play out his final year and leave as a free agent or leave with PSG securing a transfer fee.
