Meet Andre Onana’s stunning wife who will follow him to Man Utd if transfer agreed

Manchester United want to sign Andre Onana from Inter Milan in this summer’s transfer window.

Manchester United want to sign Andre Onana from Inter Milan. And, should the Cameroon international move to Old Trafford, then his wife Melanie Kamayou will likely follow. The two have been together for a number of years and she prefers to keep a low profile away from the spotlight.

Manchester United are hopeful of signing Onana in the wake of David De Gea’s recent release.

The Spain international could yet stay at Old Trafford but, right now, all signs point to a parting of ways.

United are confident they’ll be able to acquire Onana in the coming days, having already signed Mason Mount from Chelsea.

And should a deal for the 27-year-old go through, then his wife Melanie is poised to move to England as well.

Not too much is known about her – but a quick look at her social media does provide some insight.

Melanie lists herself as Dr. Melanie Kamayou, pharmacist.

And Melanie also reveals she’s a businesswoman and philanthropist, while also being co-chair of the Andre Onana foundation.

She also seemingly graduated from The Official Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.

Images on her account show Melanie with Onana, while also posing for numerous pictures at the San Siro – home of Inter Milan.

There are also snaps of Melanie looking stunning on her wedding day, too.

And there’s also a picture of the businesswoman holding their son, Andre Jr, who was 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧 in 2019.

Melanie had to relocate to Italy 12 months ago when Onana joined Inter from Ajax on a free transfer.

And, now, a move to Manchester could be on the cards.

United have been linked with a host of goalkeepers this summer, including Diogo Costa and David Raya.

But Erik ten Hag is sold on the idea of reuniting with Onana, with the pair previously working together at Ajax.

They won three Eredivisie titles together before both jumping ship last year.

United are expected to sell Dean Henderson this summer, with the England international determined to leave the club.

And there’s a possibility Tom Heaton will jump ship, too, with the veteran being eyed by Luton.

United are, according to De Telegraaf, on the verge of bringing Onana to Manchester and making him their second signing of the summer window.

It’s claimed the goalkeeper is poised to move for a fee of £46million, which includes add-ons.

Onana is also supposedly set to sign a five-year contract with the club.

And Gabriel Agbonlahor, speaking to talkSPORT, thinks the Cameroon international has the potential to be a huge signing for United.

“He’s (De Gea) not the goalkeeper whose going to take Manchester United on to winning Premier League titles,” he said.

“Onana I really like, very good on the ball, good shot-stopper.

“I watched him for Inter. Top top goalkeeper and United really need one.”
