The grandfather of the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback has suffered from ill health throughout 2024.

Randi took to social media on Friday to update fans on her dad’s condition.
She wrote: “Asking for prayers for my father.”
It continues a tough time for Randi, who lost her mother, Debbie, last year.
The Mahomes’ family have not disclosed Randy’s health condition, but he has been in hospital several times over the past few months.
In September, Randi confirmed he was receiving medical attention as the pair watched Patrick play for the Chiefs from his hospital room.
Randi wrote to her 182,000 followers: “Prayer warriors please pray for my daddy.
“He is in the hospital and is not well..
“His name is Randy.”
“I will definitely pray for your Dad and for you. I’m so sorry he’s not doing well,” responded one Chiefs fan.
“This #BillsMafia member is saying a prayer for your dad, Randy! Praying for his health, strength, comfort, and for all good things…” said another NFL supporter.

Randi will soon become a grandmother for the third time, with Patrick’s wife Brittany expected to give 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡 soon.
The 51-year-old penned a heartfelt tribute to her mom ahead of the Chiefs Super Bowl LVIII matchup with the San Francisco 49ers in February.
She wrote on Instagram: “Momma I know you are cheering today from Heaven.
“I miss you every single day.. I can hear you yelling ‘Go Patrick'”.
Mahomes, 29, is currently hoping to lead the Chiefs to a historic three-peat.
Kansas City are 15-1 on the regular season after a Christmas Day win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Mahomes, a two-time league MVP, threw for 320 yards and 3 touchdowns in the 29-10 triumph.
The Chiefs are next in action on January 5, as they face the Denver Broncos in Week 17.
