Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign are being sued by a group of Memphis rappers for copyright infringement.
The plaintiffs are alleging it’s their voices that Kanye — who has a new album on the way — and his Yeezy record label took without permission.
They allege that they attempted sample clearances negotiations through Alien Music services in March, when the album was set to be released.
The Chicago rapper dropped his joint albums Vultures 1 and Vultures 2 with Ty Dolla $ign earlier this year.
West’s career infamously went into freefall when he began spouting anti-Semitic hate speech and self-identified as a neo-Nazi.
Meanwhile, Kanye’s ex-wife Kim Kardashian, 44, said she is a ‘single parent’ as West has not been seen with their four kids — daughters North, 11, and Chicago, 6, and sons Saint, 8, and Psalm, 5 — in about 57 days.
