Elon Musk: “DELETE This From Your Phone Before It’s Too Late!”

Elon Musk Warns Users to Delete Certain Apps to Protect Personal Privacy

Elon Musk recently issued a strong warning to the public about deleting certain popular apps on their phones to protect personal privacy. He pointed out that many apps are collecting user data in an invasive manner and advised people to be vigilant about these risks.

Warning About TikTok and ByteDance

Musk specifically focused on TikTok, saying that the app is a big data collector, raising concerns about personal information security. Since TikTok is owned by ByteDance – a Chinese company, Musk is concerned that user data could be accessed by foreign agencies. He advised that users need to be careful with the data they share on this platform.

Criticizing Facebook and Instagram

Musk also criticized Facebook for its history of data scandals and user surveillance across its platforms. Instagram, an app owned by Facebook, has also been warned by Musk about its invasive data collection and negative impacts on young people’s mental health, as the app can lead to social comparison and negative psychological effects.

Encouraging the Use of Privacy-Protecting Apps

To enhance personal security, Musk encouraged users to choose privacy-protecting apps like Signal for messaging and DuckDuckGo for browsing, instead of apps that track user activity. He emphasized that these privacy-focused platforms will help protect users from unwanted surveillance risks.

Increasing Digital Awareness and Privacy Control

Musk urged users to be more digitally aware, review app permissions, and consider using a VPN to protect their online activities. He believes that only when users understand and control their data can they protect themselves from privacy risks in today’s digital age.
