Elon Musk continues to have problems: Tesla recalls almost the entire Cybertruck because a part can come off when the car is running

Tesla has issued two additional recalls, the third and fourth, for the Cybertruck since its launch late last year.

In the latest recall, Tesla is recalling nearly all 12,000 vehicles on the road, meaning all Cybertrucks manufactured between November 13, 2023 and June 6, 2024. The defect this time is in the wiper arm of the vehicle’s largest windshield and the trim on the truck bed. This black plastic piece can detach and fly off while the vehicle is in motion.

According to documents on the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) website, if an object attached to a vehicle falls off, it can endanger drivers behind, increasing the risk of falling off. muscle injury or collision.

Cybertruck owners are advised to take their vehicles to a Tesla service center, where the faulty parts will be replaced or properly installed to ensure proper adhesion. Tesla will begin notifying owners of the recall in mid-August.

Additionally, these trucks are also having problems with the windshield wiper motor. Excessive power supply damages the motor’s circuit board.

Tesla has recalled Cybertrucks in the past for a variety of issues. In April, the trucks were recalled because of a potential accelerator pedal sticking problem. In January, Tesla issued a software recall for 2.2 million vehicles, including the Cybertruck. The text on the warning light was too small to read. That issue was fixed via an over-the-air software update
