Singer Zach Bryan apologizes for ‘putting down’ Taylor Swift: ‘Hopefully one day I can explain to her’

The male singer admitted his mistake for his actions towards Taylor Swift.

Previously, on his personal X (Twitter) account, male singer Zach Bryan caused a stir in the online community when he posted a status with the content: “Eagles > Chiefs. Kanye > Taylor. Who agrees with me?” .

Zach Bryan’s post immediately received mixed reactions from the online community as well as Taylor Swift’s fans. They said that this male singer not only “dethroned” the Look What You Made Me Do singer by saying that Kanye West is better than Taylor Swift , but Zach Bryan also dragged the singer’s boyfriend into the “incident” when he chose the Philadelphia Eagles instead of Travis Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs.

On the X platform, many netizens re-shared Zach Bryan’s post, constantly criticizing the male singer. Not long after, many people discovered that Zach Bryan had disabled his personal account in response to the wave of anger from the online community.

Many people have said that Zach Bryan has known about the years-long conflict between Kanye West and Taylor Swift, but intentionally publicly comparing the two is like “adding fuel to the fire”, making the Swifties community extremely angry.

Recently, Zach Bryan admitted his mistake and apologized to Taylor Swift and the singer’s fan community.

First, the singer shared Taylor Swift’s song Fortnight on his personal Instagram story, sharing: “I was drunk when I compared the two records and the result was wrong. I know there is a lot of stuff surrounding Ye (Kanye West) and I’m just talking about the music. I love Taylor’s music and I hope people know that I’m human and post stupid things all the time.

Hopefully one day I can explain this to her. Twitter has gotten me into so much trouble that I think it’s best for me to stay away from it. I apologize to any Taylor fans that I’ve upset or disappointed. Love you all and I’m trying my best!” .

Zach Bryan then shared the track The Albatross from Taylor Swift’s album The Tortured Poets Department , saying: “Honestly, it just makes Taylor sound rude and insensitive. I have so much respect for her as a musician, the last thing I want is for people to think that I don’t appreciate and love what she does for music . “
