Elon Musk reveals the motivation to give up a bad morning habit, seemingly harmless but with unpredictable consequences!

Elon Musk tries to make surprisingly simple goals come true. Despite being a billionaire with a fortune of hundreds of billions of dollars, Elon Musk still has surprisingly simple daily goals: changing his habits after waking up

For example, in a previous interview on the Full Send Podcast, Musk admitted that the first thing he does when he wakes up is check his phone. He knows this is bad for his health.

“I have a bad habit, which I think a lot of people have, of checking my phone as soon as I wake up in the morning,” Musk said in the interview. “It’s actually a bad habit.”

Elon Musk previously told German car magazine Auto Bild that he usually spends the first 30 minutes of each day checking emails. Now he says he wants to replace this activity with exercise.

“I need to exercise and be in good shape,” Musk told the Full Send Podcast. Checking your phone as soon as you wake up isn’t Musk’s only habit. IDC Research found that about 80% of smartphone users check their phones within the first 15 minutes of waking up in the morning.

Musk wanted to form a new habit to make his life healthier. Studies have shown that exercising in the morning can improve productivity throughout the day.

Elon Musk has long been considered the “crazy guy” of Silicon Valley. He goes to bed at 3am, closes his eyes for 6 hours, then starts a new working day by checking his phone’s emails. This habit stems in part from his anxiety that he will miss important information.

“I run SpaceX and Tesla, so sometimes things come up overnight,” he said.

This isn’t the first time Musk has spoken publicly about his bad habits and his desire to break them. In a 2014 interview with Auto Bild, he admitted that he was trying to cut down on his caffeine intake to reduce stress.

“There was a time when I drank eight cans of Diet Coke,” Musk revealed. “Now I only drink one or two cans a day, so it’s not that crazy anymore.”

Concerns about Elon Musk’s health have been growing, especially since photos of the scar on his neck were revealed a few years ago. In 2020, Musk admitted to having undergone two surgeries to address neck pain. The cause largely stemmed from a sumo wrestling match Musk had at a party. The “struggling” with a 350-pound opponent left Musk with a spinal injury, and eight years later, he suffered severe back pain.

According to WSJ, Elon Musk often has to use the sleeping pill Ambien “as a way to relax amid a busy schedule.”

“A little red wine, a classic record, Ambien…and boom, magic happens!” Musk joked.

Musk was encouraged to take better care of himself by Arianna Huffington in 2018. Huffington is the author of “The Sleep Revolution,” a book that explores how sleep deprivation can affect health and decision-making.

“Humans are not machines,” she told Musk in an open letter. “The science is clear. You cannot make good decisions and achieve your world-changing ambitions without sleep.”

Elon Musk’s diet has been controversial not only for his sleep, but also for his eating habits. In a 2015 book, Elon Musk said, “If there was a way to not eat and get more done, I would not eat.”

“I’m not doing so well. I’ve had a few friends who really care about me come to see me,” Musk said in 2018.

Elon Musk is clearly conscious of his health. He admits that he tries to get enough sleep because “sleep is very important.”

“If I don’t get enough sleep, I get cranky. I can sleep less, stay up more, but at the same time do less to avoid the mental impact,” Musk said. “Eating before bed is really not a good idea and it negatively impacts your sleep.”

The Tesla boss has previously shared his unusual eating habits.

“If I could not eat to work more, I would not eat,” Musk said in a book called “Elon Musk: Tesla, SpaceX, and the Quest for a Fantastic Future.” There was a period when he spent a specific Canadian dollar a day on food while in college, choosing only foods like hot dogs, peppers, oranges, and spaghetti.

However, his views have now changed. Musk is more concerned about weight gain and its effects on health.

“Being overweight is a big problem,” Musk said.

It is known that Elon Musk has previously successfully lost up to 13kg thanks to Ozempic and Mounjaro. Ozempic and Mounjaro are approved to treat diabetes, but are sometimes prescribed for weight loss.
