PATRICK Mahomes has left her wife Brittany emotional after being spotted with their kids.

The 28-year-old Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback spent time with his two 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren, daughter Sterling and son Bronze, after he made a stunning play in the team’s preseason game against the Detroit Lions.

On Sunday, Brittany shared a photo of Patrick with their two kids on her Instagram.

Sterling and Bronze were snuggled on their dad’s lap while he read them a story before bed.

The trio were reading a book while Sterling held a flashlight for them to see.

The 28-year-old Brittany, who’s expecting the couple’s third 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥, then explained that Bronze has recently been included in the family’s nightly bedtime story routine.

“Bronze started getting very mad he didn’t get to participate in Sterling and Dad’s bedtime routine, so he now has been added and mom gets to watch this sweetness,” she wrote along with a teary-eyed and white love heart emoji.

“Sterling’s job is to hold the flashlight so they can see the book,” Brittany continued, alongside two crying laughing emojis.

The snap of Patrick with his kids came a day after his appearance in the Chiefs’ preseason home loss to the Lions.

But the three-time Super Bowl MVP completed an amazing play that involved Travis Kelce.

He surprised Detroit’s defense with a behind-the-back toss to Kelce on 3rd-and-3 in the first quarter.

Kelce then got the first down as the highlight play went viral on social media.

After the game, Mahomes playfully explained that Kelce messed up his route on the play, which caused his stunning behind-the-back toss.

“Long story short, Travis didn’t run the route he was supposed to run,” the two-time NFL MVP told reporters.

“And then it was kind of a behind-the-back pass because I was mad, I was pissed off at Travis.

“He was supposed to run a flat route… he doesn’t run it.

“Out of spite, I threw a behind-the-back pass, but now it’s gonna be a highlight.”

Mahomes played just one quarter, finishing the game 8-for-14 for 93 yards.

He had already played in Kansas City’s preseason-opening loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Chiefs will finish the preseason with a contest against the Chicago Bears this weekend.

They will start the 2024 NFL season in a game with the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday, September 5.
