Pax Thien has had a journey of growing up with countless emotions. Originally a skinny, dark-skinned orphan, Pax thought he would have a life without the love of his parents. But a miracle happened to the boy. In 2007, he was adopted by Angelina Jolie from an orphanage in Ho Chi Minh City.

In 2016, the Jolie family faced a breakdown. Angelina filed for divorce from Brad Pitt due to disagreements in life. From here, the relationship between Pax Thien – Maddox and Brad Pitt became worse. The incident originated from Brad Pitt’s “physical” actions with Maddox on the family’s private flight. Although Angelina and Brad did not speak out about Pax Thien criticizing his adoptive father, it is clear that in the past 7 years, Brad has not appeared publicly with his 6 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren. This partly shows the real tension in the relationship between him and the 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren, especially Pax Thien and Maddox.
