Mbappe officially scored his first goal in a Euro. The goal came to Mbappe in the confrontation between France and Austria in the final match of Group D Euro 2024.

It may be hard to believe when fans learn about this statistic. However, Mbappe just appeared for France at Euro 2020 and during the Euro in England, France faced Germany, Hungary, Portugal and Switzerland, but Mbappe could not open fire. Then France was eliminated in the round of 16 and there was no more chance for Mbappe.

Mbappe’s goal against Poland was also France’s first goal at this Euro. In the first two matches, France had 1 goal, but the goal against Austria was Wober’s own goal.

Mbappe is still France’s number 1 hope at this Euro. Rookie Real Madrid has contributed to 71 goals and assists this season for France and PSG.

Mbappe’s nose injury made many fans worried and the mask will certainly prevent Mbappe from performing at 100% performance.

The match between France and Poland has ended, surprisingly France could not maintain their 1-goal advantage. Upamecano’s foul cost France a penalty and Lewandowski helped Poland earn a point of honor before leaving the tournament.
