Man Utd star Marcus Rashford’s confession: Expressing his dislike for Liverpool more than Man City on The Shop program with LeBron James

Marcus Rashford, a top player for Manchester United, stated that the only reason he despises Liverpool more than Man City is because of their past.

The International in England While on vacation in the US, Marcus Rashford linked up with NBA player LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers.

Alongside Academy Award winner Daniel Kaluuya, he made an appearance on an episode of UNINTERRUPTED: The Shop where they discussed United’s main competitors.

When asked which Premier League team he detested, Rashford said, “Liverpool,” taking a subtle jab at Manchester City at the same time. He was speaking on the podcast on YouTube.

He clarified that the teams have a “bitter” rivalry as a result of years of trophy-chasing, but he asserts that there is no actual grounds for disliking Pep Guardiola’s team because they are not rivals at all.

“Yeah, Liverpool. I don’t like Liverpool City. Liverpool have history, so it’s a bit more bitter.

“But with City, it’s like you don’t like them, but you don’t have a massive reason not to like them.

“You just grow up, and it’s two Manchester sides. One wears light blue; one wears red.”

The 24-year-old also spoke about Liverpool when asked about which grounds he dislikes visiting;

“Liverpool is like both. Their fans can take the game away from you. If you let them, they can take it away from you… He said.

“My first game at Anfield, I almost got sent off and I’m not a malicious player, I wouldn’t try and hurt someone on purpose.”
