Casemiro could leave Manchester United and land in Saudi Arabia

The Brazilian has some important offers for the January transfer window

Manchester United have struggled so far this season. It’s obvious, as evidenced by being out of the Champions League and Europe altogether, and being down the Premier League table.

Some players are already looking for a new destination and some of the players who have been pillars have decided to move on, or are at least looking at what the transfer window has to offer. One of the most striking cases is that of Casemiro, who has received an important offer from Saudi soccer and is considering a change of scenery.

As with all proposals from the Saudi Pro League it comes with a lot of money, but could also spur United to begin a complete overhaul to the squad, which could start with a change of coach.

Casemiro’s possible departure would make headlines, as the Brazilian was the star signing of last season. Although his contribution this season has decreased, mainly due to injuries, his presence remains important among United fans.

The midfielder arrived at Old Trafford in the summer of 2022 in exchange for an amount that, with variables, could reach 70 million euros. While directors are now looking to recoup part of that investment, his price tag will not reach that amount of money.

The offer made to Casemiro is what is presumed to be the second great wave of Saudi soccer as they look to sign more stars who play in Europe. On this occasion, the Arab League seems to have found in Manchester United a club willing to let go of some its players. Jadon Sancho is another of those who could appear in Saudi soccer in January.

The Saudi Arabian leaders have a clear objective, which is none other than to have what they consider to be the 300 best players in the world. Little by little, the Saudi Pro League is being populated with important players and in January, Casemiro could be one of them.
