17-year-old Twin sisters graduate US high school, bags bachelors degree at 20, set to earn masters degree at 21

Twin sisters, Jordyn and Morgan Jackson who graduated high school at the age of 17 bagged a bachelor’s degree in Xavier University, Louisiana in the United States at the age of 20.

Jordyn and Morgan Jackson graduated from Xavier University, United States at an age earlier than usual. Jordyn earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Morgan earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications.

The Jackson twin sisters have always accomplished things together. They graduated they graduated at the same time from North Houston Early College with both a high school diploma and an Associate degree at the age of 17.

Jordyn said her 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥hood dream was to be a lawyer. However, after doing some research, she decided to pursue a career in accounting instead. While planning a path on her new career, she also became a resident assistant, an INROADS scholar, an executive leadership council scholar.

“I want to continue to increase the pipeline of Black CPAs because it’s less than 3%, that’s my why and my drive for doing what I do. I want to show young Black girls and boys that there are other career options out there. Accounting is a great profession,” Jordyn told Black Enterprise.

Morgan said she has always loved speaking which pushed her to pursue a career in mass communication. She added that she was more motivated by her mother’s own experience with the same major at Grambling State University.

She also became a member of the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) and the National Millennial & Generation Z Community. Morgan has also been a published writer and a Marketing and Communications Specialist for the Center for Minority Health & Health Disparities Research & Research at Xavier’s College of Pharmacy.

While at Xavier University, the twin sisters were both members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. They also both received Dean’s list and Honor Society recognition.

After graduation, The Jackson twin sisters plan to further their studies. Jordyn is set to pursue her Master’s degree program in Accounting and Morgan is ready to start her Master’s degree in Journalism at the University of Missouri-Columbia, United States.
