Kevin Durant’s Official Injury Status For Kings-Suns Game

Kevin Durant is on the injury report for Friday’s game.

On Friday evening, the Phoenix Suns will host De’Aaron Fox and the Sacramento Kings in Arizona.

For the game, they will be without one of their best players, as 2014 MVP Kevin Durant has been ruled out.

Via Underdog NBA: “Kevin Durant (ankle) ruled out for Friday.”

Durant has played in 19 games so far this season and is averaging 31.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, 5.7 assists and 1.2 blocks per contest while shooting 52.1% from the field and 50.0% from the three-point range.

The Suns are 12-9 in their first 21 games, which has them as the seventh seed in the Western Conference.

They are 7-3 over their last ten games and most recently lost to the Los Angeles Lakers by a score of 106-103 (in California).

In 39 minutes of playing time, Durant had 31 points, seven rebounds, four assists and one block while shooting 12/17 from the field and 4/7 from the three-point range.

Following the Kings, the Suns will play their next game on Tuesday when they host Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors in Arizona.

As for the Kings, they are 11-8 in their first 19 games, which has them as the sixth seed in the Western Conference.

They are 6-4 over their last ten games and most recently lost to the New Orleans Pelicans by a score of 127-117.

Following the Suns, the Kings will play their next game on Monday evening when they host Cam Thomas and the Brooklyn Nets in Sacramento, California.
