Young boy who sells orange as a kid wins scholarship, graduates from high school with good grade

Ayomide Adeoye – A young Nigerian boy who sells orange as a 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 in a video that went viral has been awarded a full scholarship to secondary school and further his education.

Ayomide Adeoye, a young boy from Ilaro, Nigeria went viral on social media in 2019 after an Instagram user posted a video of him singing a Nigerian gospel artist’s song ‘You are Worthy’ with an angelic voice.

He was then sought after by a popular Nigerian comedian and gospel influencer, Woli Arole, who thereafter sought assistance for him online and got him a full scholarship to cover his entire education to the end.

Four years after awarding him the scholarship, the comedian shared graduation pictures of Ayomide who has now graduated with excellent grades from Avi-Cenna International schools in Lagos Nigeria.

“In 2019 I remember driving to ilaro to meet Ayo, a young orange seller that was singing @tope_alabi_ song. He went viral and I was lead to see him, I posted his video, raise money for him, people met him through me and from there Rev Mother Esther Ajayi of @love_of_christ_generation saw him and adopted him,’’ he wrote.

The comedian further congratulated Ayomide on his high school graduation, mentioning that he will be proceeding to the university. He also thanked the prophetess who adopted and enrolled him in secondary school.

“Ayo just graduated from School naw, he’s proceeding his studies. God bless Rev Esther Ajayi, God bless AYO and God bless Woli Arole. I am anointed to lifting MEN and also connecting MEN to destiny Helpers. God has given me 4 major rods: INFLUENCE, MEDIA, CREATIVITY and PROPHETIC. All Glory to GOD,” he added.

Ayomide was adopted by Rev Esther Ajayi, the general overseer of the Love of Christ Generation church in Lagos who enrolled him into one of the best secondary schools in Lagos state, Nigeria.

Rev Esther also took to her Instagram page to congratulate Ayomide on his graduation, praising and describing him as her godson with a bright future.

Asides from being a student, Ayomide is also a gospel singer who has performed in many gospels concerts. He is also one of the lead praise singers in his adopted mother’s church.
