Kevin Durant moved ahead of Vince Carter on an all-time list.
On Sunday evening, Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns are hosting the Oklahoma City Thunder (in Arizona).
During the game, Durant made NBA history by moving up on the all-time list of field goals made.
He came into the evening with 9,293 made field goals, which had been tied with Vince Carter, and he has now moved ahead of Carter for sole possession of 21st.
The next player for Durant to pass will be Moses Malone (9,435).

Durant entered the matchup with fantastic averages of 30.2 points, 6.9 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 1.1 blocks per contest while shooting 50.8% from the field and 40.5% from the three-point range.
The Suns are 4-5 in their first nine games and most recently lost to LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers (at home) by a score of 122-119 on Friday evening.
That said, Durant was sensational and had 38 points, nine rebounds and five assists while shooting 13/27 from the field and 4/6 from the three-point range in 39 minutes of playing time.
Following the Thunder, the Suns will play their next game (on Wednesday evening) when they host Karl-Anthony Towns and the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Durant is in his 16th season in the NBA and has also spent time with the Brooklyn Nets, Golden State Warriors and Oklahoma City Thunder (in addition to the Suns).
The two-time NBA Champion has career averages of 27.3 points, 7.1 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.1 blocks per contest while shooting 49.9% from the field and 38.5% from the three-point range.
