Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Matthews have embraced their roles as parents after welcoming 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren Sterling and Bronze.

The couple, who started dating in high school, got engaged in August 2020 after Mahomes’ Super Bowl LIV win earlier that year. One month after the quarterback proposed, the pair announced that Matthews was pregnant with their first 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥.

“Mom and Dad, taking a small detour to the wedding,” Matthews captioned the September 2020 social media upload, while her then-fiancé captioned a post of his own with a heart emoji.

Mahomes and Matthews welcomed daughter Sterling in February 2021. They proceeded to tie the knot in March 2022 and three months later, the twosome announced 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦 No. 2 was on its way. Their son, Bronze, was 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧 in November 2022.

“Patrick and Brittany are in pure 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦 bliss right now,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly the following month. “They have their families circulating in and out to help Patrick out with anything around the house. They are so happy with their growing family and love spending time with their new son.”

During an interview with The Drive on 610 Sports Radio show, the athlete said that he had an amazing time celebrating his daughter’s first Christmas. “I don’t think she understood what Christmas was yet, but she understood she got a lot of toys,” he joked. “She was playing with literally everything. It was fun to see her do that.”One of the tot’s gifts was a toy Lamborghini car. “It was awesome, and you can control it through a little remote control too,” Mahomes said of the snazzy ride. “I think it’s a bad sign for me that she’s already getting a black Lamborghini.
