Thiago Silva has taken to social media to express his frustration with the situation at Chelsea right now.
He told Twitter however that he does not give up, sending somewhat of a message to Chelsea fans in the process.
Saturday unfortunately saw things return to what has been the norm over the past 12 months. Brentford picked up a 2-0 win at Stamford Bridge.
The game took a familiar route to the final score. Chelsea had a lot of the ball and chances with no end product.
This, as tends to be the way, was swiftly followed with their opponents taking their only real chance, leaving the majority of Stamford Bridge fuming.
Silva started again at the weekend, with him continuing his run of starting every single Premier League game so far this season.
He was again joined in the middle by Levi Colwill, with Marc Cucurella and Axel Disasi used in the wide defensive roles.
It is safe to say that the latter is likely not to be used again anytime soon, after he lacked any real attacking edge when in possession.
Silva sends message to Chelsea fans
The defeat will have hit a lot of those in Blue hard, as any good feeling that had come from a run of four games unbeaten evaporated within 90 minutes.
Silva took to social media to send a message to Chelsea fans in what are some very difficult times for them.
He said: “The strong discouraged. The strong is sad. The strong suffer. The strong gets tired. But he never gives up.”
It’s another tough fixture next for the Blues as they make a trip across the capital for their third London derby in as many games.
This time they go up against Tottenham, who sit at the top of the Premier League at this moment.
