Official or not, everyone has a fall bucket list. Ours includes apple cider donuts, a seasonal drink of choice (pumpkin spice latte? Pumpkin beer? A bit of both?), stressing over the perfect Halloween costume, and watching lots and lots of football … or at least watching Taylor Swift watch Travis Kelce play football.

You may think the sport is the sole focus of the Mahomes family during the fall months, but even they know the season wouldn’t be complete without the ultimate classic family outing.

A trip to a pumpkin patch.

Matriarch Brittany Mahomes posted a carousel of photos and lots of stories on Instagram documenting her family’s adorable trip to a local farm. The in-feed photos include shots of the family of four in the field, one of daughter Sterling Mahomes, two giving the biggest smile while on a little ride, one of Sterling on dad Patrick Mahomes‘ shoulders with a freshly picked apple in hand, and one of son Bronze Mahomes, 10 months, subtly smiling at the camera while sitting in the mouth of what looks to be a wooden jack-o-lantern.

“My Pumpkins🧡,” Brittany captioned her post.

Brittany posted a similar jack-o-lantern picture on her Instagram story, but little Bronze had a hilariously grumpy expression. It was a major Monday mood. But right after, Brittany shared the sweetest picture of Bronze in the same spot with a huge grin. “He was happy to be here,” she wrote over the story. “Don’t let the mean mug fool you.” Peppered throughout her stories were more photos of Bronze being clearly over it, and we were here for his annoyed energy. Because sometimes you just don’t want to adhere to the autumn bucket list!

There was also a sweet video on her story of little Sterling jumping on what looks to be a big inflatable pumpkin, her perfect curls bouncing with her. And there was one of Patrick going down a roller slide with his daughter in his lap, trying his hardest to look cool.

A major topic of conversation in the comments was Bronze’s hilarious facial expressions throughout the day.

“Why Bronze always look like he contemplating the meaning of life,” one person asked.

Someone responded saying, “He’s trying to figure out Kelce’s routes.”

“Bronze always on smoke.”

“BRONZE BOY – them two little teeth 😂”

Of course, they couldn’t give up the opportunity to talk about how cute the family of four is either.

Ditto! Obsessed with the fam and obsessed with Bronze’s unimpressed disposition. The First Son of Football reminds us a lot of another hard-to-please little boy. Bronze, are you taking your inspo from [the equally adorable] Prince Louis? If so, we’re so here for it!

Brittany later shared a picture saying Bronze had the stomach bug. Not long after that, she shared that Sterling got it too. Poor babies! Maybe that’s why Bronze looked so upset. Only the next batch of photos will tell. In the meantime, get well soon, Mahomes kiddos!
