Reports from Italy have claimed that Inter Milan are now interested in signing Armando Broja in January.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Serie A side are keen on bringing the Chelsea man in on loan, and the Blues are open to this being the case.
Broja has finally made his return to the Chelsea first team in recent weeks, after he suffered a serious knee injury back in December last year.
This issue very much stopped him in his tracks when he was in the middle of his first season as part of the Blues first team.
However, he has now started a couple of games this season, as he looks to battle Nicolas Jackson for the role of striker under Mauricio Pochettino.
He started that pursuit off in the best way possible with a goal in his first start against Fulham, as they returned to winning ways in the Premier League.
Chelsea keen to loan Broja
The Senegal international did fight back with his own goal last time out against Burnley, with competition hotting up for players in that role.
However, Inter are considering disrupting that, as they return with reported interest in the Albanian striker.
This may coincide with Chelsea’s own reported interest in strengthening up front, with goals not exactly flowing at Stamford Bridge yet again.
Ivan Toney has been the most obvious name linked with a move to Stamford Bridge, with him almost certainly leaving Brentford when the opportunity arises.
The Blues are aware they face a fight for his services already, with fellow Premier League side Arsenal also reportedly interested in a deal for the English striker.
