Grandmother and grandson win the hearts viewers with incredible solve, make history on ‘Wheel of Fortune’

Retta Alexander and her grandson, Julian, who are from Moss Point, Mississippi, are celebrating having taken home the jackpot on Wheel of Fortune, the popular TV game show.

After undergoing a rigorous selection process that involved virtual interviews, the grandmother-grandson duo was granted the opportunity to travel to California and compete on the renowned television program.

Wheel of Fortune holds a special place in their hearts as watching it has been a favorite pastime for both of them and playing it has been a dream come true.

“I’ve been watching Wheel of Fortune since I was a little itty-bitty kid. It’s always been my dream to go on Wheel of Fortune,” Alexander told WLOX.

Alexander’s family showed their support by organizing a watch party as they cheered her on throughout the show.

Alexander’s hard work and determination paid off as she s𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁fully navigated the game, eventually securing a $50,000 jackpot.

“I came home with the prize of knowing I fulfilled one of my lifelong dreams and everything,” Alexander added.
