Gigi Hadid maintained her composure when she suffered an embarrassing nip slip on the runway for Versace on Friday night.

Proving her poise as one of the world’s top models, the blonde carried on walking with conviction as the top of her slinky black dress exposed her right breast in front of the Milan Fashion Week crowd.

Leading a star-studded show, the 20-year-old Victoria’s Secret Angel even received a high five from Italian fashion designer Donatella Versace, in spite of a wardrobe malfunction that could have marred her Fall/Winter 2016/2017 presentation.

Gigi certainly deserved praise for making the garment look good, when she strutted down the runway in black court shoes, a silver choker necklace and a black warrior-style headband.

The black dress, which featured an asymmetric low-cut neckline, was held up by spaghetti straps with a cutaway section at the middle and had a bold pattern down the seams in sequins.

While it’s not clear whether Gigi knew about the malfunction while she was walking, it certainly seemed like an accident even though she made attempt to adjust the top on the catwalk, like a true professional.

Proving that the slinky dresses may prove some problems when they hit the shops, another of the show’s catwalk models suffered the same overexpose in front of the flashing lenses.

The fast-paced costume changes are by now customary for the blonde bombshell, who has had a busy Fashion Month already, returning to the catwalk especially for Versace, alongside gal pals Kendall Jenner, Karlie Kloss and Adriana Lima.

Later, Gigi joined Adriana in covering up her fine form with a more conservative, military style jacket as the pair did their best to model what chief designer Donatella has in store for the forthcoming season.

Kendall too, was more covered up in a charcoal winter coat and was dressed in a girlie fashion than her counterpart with candyfloss shades. She layered her 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦 pink fur-lined jacket over the top of a cute mint-coloured minidress.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star was similarly styled to her model BFF in a black headband and choker, completing her show look with a puffball handbag in 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦 pink.

US Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour was naturally among the elite fashion crowd invited to perch on the front row inside the Milano Moda Donna that evening.

Former fellow Victoria’s Secret Angels Adriana and Karlie were dressed in the show’s darker looks, with Adriana completely covered in a fastened navy blue coat.

Karlie, who had spent the day spectating with a stop at Tod’s AW16 show, was sporting a Sixties look and dressed her lithe shape in a neon yellow colour splash dress.

Also rocking the runway: Kendall Jenner, Gigi’s model pal, was also in attendance at the world-famous show
