“How Are You Going To Take Out Cristiano Ronaldo”- South American Icon Takes Swipe At ‘Bald’ Man United Manager

Arturo Vidal criticizes Erik ten Hag for his managerial decisions at Manchester United

Arturo Vidal is a former Barcelona player.

According to The Mirror, Arturo Vidal, the former midfielder for Barcelona and Juventus, has criticized Erik ten Hag for how he handled Cristiano Ronaldo and made an odd jab at the Manchester United manager’s baldness.

The 36-year-old Chilean said that Ten Hag’s tenure at Old Trafford began “badly” as a result of his choice to drop Ronaldo, who later moved to Saudi Arabia, from his plans.

Vidal said on Twitch:

“That coach came in badly. How are you going to take out Cristiano Ronaldo? That’s how these guys are. He was the scorer and he takes him out. The bald guys are very complicated.”

In the summer of 2021, Ronaldo sensationally returned to Old Trafford. In the 2021–22 season, he became the Red Devils’ leading scorer. The following season, Ten Hag, however, saw him lose some of his influence.

There is another experienced player that left Manchester United before the start of the season. After David de Gea‘s contract expired this summer, he left as a free agent. Andre Onana from Inter Milan was afterwards acquired by them for more than £47 million.

Ten Hag’s boldness is what Manchester United should like about him. He also removed Harry Maguire as captain and while it can be said that he can get things wrong sometimes, we needed someone with a personality to handle things.

Ronaldo was never going to be a long-term signing under Ole Gunnar Soslkjaer. He is now in the Saudi Pro League…
