Patrick Mahomes will likely be a Kansas City Chief for life and showed his commitment to staying long-term by moving into a newly built mansion.

Mahomes became the highest-paid NFL star in 2020 when he signed a massive 10-year contract worth $450million.

Just three years later he may have slipped down to being just the seventh best paid quarterback in the league, but he is still happy with his financial situation.

“It’s not about being the highest-paid guy; it’s not about making a ton of money,” Mahomes said earlier in 2023.

“I’ve made enough money where I’ll be set for the rest of my life. But at the same time, you got to find that line where you’re making a good amount of money but you’re still keeping a lot of great players around you so you can win these Super Bowls and you’re able to compete in these games.”

The 27-year-old is already a two-time Super Bowl champion, two-time Super Bowl MVP, and two-time NFL MVP.

Mahomes already has a slew of NFL records to his name, such as fastest to passing yards milestones and fastest to 100 career touchdowns.

He will be at the Chiefs until he is at least 36 when his contract expires and it would be no surprise if he continues well into his 40s like Tom Brady.

The former Texas Tech college quarterback is sticking around in Kansas until at least 2031.

So it is no surprise that he has built a new home that is fit for a superstar.

Shortly after signing that mammoth contract, Mahomes and his wife, Brittany, purchased an eight-acre plot of land in Missouri to start building their dream home.

The pair and their two 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren finally moved into the property in 2023 and an aerial view showed the stunning mansion.

It features a par three golf hole, 50-yard football field, pool and a giant private pond.

The football field includes his logo splashed across the middle and Mahomes written across the end zone.

Mahomes has already built-up a mini property empire boasting homes in Missouri and Texas, where he went to college.

After moving into his newly-built mansion, he listed his three-bedroom home that he’d lived in since 2018 for $2.9million.

That property, which was smaller than the one they’ve just moved into, also featured a pool, a hot tub, a 500-bottle wine room, and a chef’s kitchen.

Hopefully Mahomes has built a pretty sizeable trophy room in his new home as it is almost certain to grow considerably over his NFL career.
