The Former Owner of Bruno Mars’s residenceElvira Kudryashova, daughter of a former Kazakhstan minister who was being sued by a California federal court for allegedly defrauding the Kazakh city of Almaty of at least $300 M, is reportedly the vendor in the real estate transaction. Kudryashova reportedly paid $5.7 M for the mansion in 2013, but resold it less than a year later for approximately $7.8 M. Mars purchased it for $6.5 M after the price fell to $6.8 M.
