Two shooters the Chicago Bulls desperately need to acquire

The Bulls would improve their perimeter attack with any of these snipers.

Chicago Bulls vice president Arturas Karnisovas had already expressed his desire to improve the team’s shooting profile. He will get the chance to do that in the next few days with the NBA’s free agency period opening up. Here are two shooters the Bulls should look to acquire in free agency.

Seth Curry

When it comes to perimeter shooting, the Curry name is synonymous with excellence. Seth, brother of Steph Curry and a 10-year NBA veteran, has shot over 43% from beyond the arc for his career. As consistent as any elite shooter in the Association, there was even a three-year stretch from 2018-2021 when Seth made at least 45 percent of his shots from beyond the arc.

Although defense will always be an issue with Seth, one thing the Bulls will never have to worry about is fit, as Curry has shown an ability to knock down shots, whether in a starting role or off the bench.

Yuta Watanabe

Japanese forward Yuta Watanabe was one of the league’s best three-point shooters—albeit on a low number of attempts—making 44 percent of his shots from beyond the arc. He is a 6-foot-9 forward who’s looking to take the next step in his young career and may very well thrive in an offense where he’ll get plenty of open looks generated by the gravitational pull DeMar DeRozan and Zach LaVine cause for opposing defenses.
