Why Kevin Durant and Aaron Rodgers train together: Don’t ask questions

A photo is going very viral very quickly of the two.

A photo of two of America’s biggest sports stars is going viral and it has caused a lot of confusion for fans.

The sports stars in question are basketball legend Kevin Durant from the Phoenix Suns, and New York Jets star Aaron Rodgers, who is an American football quarterback.

There is really not a lot in common between the two sports but it seems that the stars have been training together. That could be as much information as they choose to divulge, though.

An Instagram page called Proactive Sports Performance posted a picture of Durant and Rodgers together in a sports hall with the caption: “When two MVPs walk into the gym….#WhatAreYouCapableOf”

It speedily went viral given how popular the two stars are and how unusual it is to see sports stars from different disciplines working together in a physical capacity. Durant later took to Instagram and provided some sort of context, although not a lot.

He put the image on his Instagram Story and said: “Ima jetMander fan. Don’t ask no questions.”

That suggests that he wanted the picture with Rodgers as he plays for his favourite NFL team, but there is not a lot more that will be learned about the encounter that has baffled a lot of fans of both men.

Rodgers and Durant on the move

Both stars have been moving clubs recently in their respective sports. Durant started the season with the Brooklyn Nets but he was traded to the Suns in February.

As for Rodgers, he was recently traded to the Jets at the age of 29, having spent the first 18 seasons of his NFL career with the Green Bay Packers.
