The transfer fate of Harry Kane could still have a twist in it yet as clubs continue to circle a potential move for the Tottenham striker this summer. The England international is approaching his final year under contract at the club, leading to plenty of interest over a deal.

Manchester United have been the most heavily linked as Erik ten Hag looks to add a forward to his ranks, hopeful of competing near the top again. Real Madrid and Bayern Munich had both been mentioned as options, but it appears as though they will now focus on other targets.

London rivals Chelsea may have thrown their hat in the ring for Kane though as reports state that they have enquired over a potential switch. It could see the 29-year-old reunited with former Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino, though it remains to be seen how likely it is that chairman Daniel Levy will negotiate with direct rivals.

Back in N17, there’s naturally fear that if Tottenham don’t lose their club record goal scorer this summer, then it could be next year on a free transfer. Recent discussions between Kane and Levy may prove to be hopeful over his commitment to the club long-term though.

There is yet another external threat for the Lilywhites to deal with though as a report from Relevo claims that PSG have begun laying the foundations for a move for Kane. The Ligue 1 champions are currently assessing new manager options, but want to add a striker to their ranks regardless.

Victor Osimhen and Randal Kolo Muani are said to be options for Le Parisiens, but interest in Kane from their side appears to be gathering momentum. With the high profile loss of Lionel Messi confirmed alongside a potential exit for Kylian Mbappe and Neymar, the desire to add a forward or two is clear.

It remains to be seen whether they’d be able to break through in negotiations for Kane though, seeing as many have tried and failed up until this point. The other option could be to make an approach on a free transfer next summer, though battling the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich could be tough.

For Tottenham it brings up a huge decision that will have to be addressed again, whether they risk letting their top scorer leave on a free or cash in on him this summer.
