Savannah James’ new guilty pleasure

LeBron James’ Instagram story provided a unique glimpse into the ways the James household is already changing. Savannah, 38, is not one to stay at home in front of the TV. Between her active lifestyle, growing her new podcast, and attending sports events for their other son Bryce, 17, and their daughter Zhuri, 9, she has plenty to keep her busy.

Apparently, Bronny’s arrival into the NBA was enough to persuade her to carve out a bit of indulgent screen time. LeBron couldn’t believe his eyes when he walked in on her firing up the NBA 2K video game just to secretly play as Bronny. She buried her head in the chair in embarrassment, but could not wipe the prideful smile off her face.

“I have a video on my phone of Savannah playing NBA 2K. He hasn’t seen it,” LeBron told Lakers reporters on Monday while doing an interview with Bronny.

She does not play video games, but she went in practice mode and played with her son … I said, ‘Okay this is what it takes to get you on the video game?'”
