Paul Bettany is set to reprise his role as Vision in the Marvel Cinematic Universe with VisionQuest, a Disney+ series currently in pre-production. Terry Matalas (Star Trek: Picard) is the showrunner, taking over from WandaVision creator Jac Schaeffer, who remains supportive of the project but is focused on other ventures like Agatha: Darkhold Diaries. Paul Bettany expressed excitement about the creative direction, teasing, “We’re cooking up something I’m really excited about,” while humorously refusing to divulge specific plot points.

In a significant development, James Spader is confirmed to return as the voice of Ultron, hinting at unresolved tensions between Vision and his creator. Additionally, Todd Stashwick is joining the cast as a relentless assassin pursuing Vision for his advanced technology. The show promises high stakes, blending self-reflection with action-packed confrontations.
