Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas returned to the public eye tonight, attending their first-ever Billboard Music Awards together. Nick is performing with the Jonas Brothers during the show, and Priyanka was there as his plus one and biggest cheerleader.

The couple went statement on the red carpet, Priyanka choosing white sequined dress by Zuhair Murad. Nick was in a blue and grey plaid suit to match his brothers. The two were sweet in front of photographers, smiling and affectionately posing with each other.

While this may be Priyanka’s first time at the ceremony with Nick as her date, it’s not her first time attending the show period. Priyanka went in 2016, where she wore a backless blue dress with a leg slit.

Priyanka and Nick’s last big red carpet together was the Vanity Fair Oscars after party in February. Priyanka wore a black gown with an embellished tulle skirt by Elie Saab, while Nick matched alongside her in a navy suit with a black bow tie.

But arguably Priyanka and Nick’s biggest event of the year is less than a week away. The two will return to the Met Gala, where they first went as each other’s dates (though they were not officially dating at the time) in 2017. The two are co-chairs of this year’s gala.

Nick spoke to Entertainment Tonight this past weekend about how he was planning to let Priyanka take the sartorial spotlight that night. “It’s coming together,” he said of what he’ll be wearing to the event. “To be honest, I’m very excited, I love the Met Gala, it’s always a fun night, but Priyanka will set the tone, and I’m just going to be there to support her. So I plan to keep it simple and let her shine.”
