Huge night for the James family.

On Tuesday night, the Los Angeles Lakers are set to face off against the Minnesota Timberwolves for opening night of the 2024-25 NBA season.

This matchup will feature some big-time NBA history. For the first time ever, a father-son duo will share the NBA court as active players.

The Lakers selected Bronny James Jr. with the No. 55 overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, uniting him with his father: all-time great NBA legend LeBron James.

First-year NBA head coach JJ Redick confirmed that Bronny will take the court on Tuesday night — meaning history is just around the corner.

This is a huge night for the entire James family, including LeBron’s wife/Bronny’s mother, Savannah James.

Of course, Savannah is in the house at Crypto.com Arena for Tuesday night’s season opener. The James family matriarch sat with LeBron’s younger son, Bryce, and youngest daughter, Zhuri.

Savannah is a fan favorite around the NBA world.
