Angelina Jolie’s adopted Vietnamese son, Pax Thien, has his arm in a cast after a traffic accident.

Pax Thien, Angelina Jolie’s adopted Vietnamese son, appeared on the street for the first time after a serious electric bike accident in late July.

Pax, 20, was seen having lunch with his mother in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles on September 4, his first appearance since being hospitalized for more than a month after being hit by a car. According to Dailymail , Pax had a cast on one arm but looked healthy. He wore a hat with the word “Miracle” printed on it, as if to say “miracle” after the accident.

Pax Thien wore a cast on his hand while out on the street on Wednesday.

Pax had previously been treated in the intensive care unit and spent the next several days in the hospital recovering from his complex injuries, according to People . Angelina Jolie was always there to take care of her son. The source said she was shocked and worried about her son’s condition.

Pax was involved in an accident on July 29 at an intersection during afternoon rush hour in Los Angeles. He was riding his electric bike and crashed into the back of a car that was stopped at a red light. Pax fell onto the road and hit his head on the ground. According to Los Angeles police, Pax was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.

One source told TMZ that witnesses thought Pax was dead as he lay motionless on the ground. Another told ET that she saw Pax with a head injury and a lot of blood in his mouth. When Pax was rushed to the hospital, medical staff suspected he had a brain hemorrhage.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter in late August, Angelina Jolie said her son was recovering and did not reveal details about the accident. After completing promotional work for the film Maria in Venice, Italy and Colorado, USA, Angelina soon returned to reunite with Pax Thien and the 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren.

Pax Thien (𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡 name: Pham Quang Sang) was 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧 in 2003 and was adopted by Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt at an orphanage in Ho Chi Minh City at the age of three. After his parents divorced in 2016, Pax lived with his mother and five siblings in Los Angeles. He currently works as a game artist and assistant to his mother at the studio.
