NHL player Anze Kopitar is asking a record $37 million for his opulent Southern California estate

Always dreamed of living like royalty, particularly in the shoes of a Slovenian-饾悰饾惃饾惈饾惂 hockey star? Now鈥檚 your chance. Anze Kopitar of the L.A. Kings is listing his impressive Manhattan Beach compound for a staggering $37 million, according to the Daily Breeze.

This eye-popping price is $27 million more than what Kopitar and his wife Ines paid for neighboring homes back in 2014 before they fully renovated the property in 2018. If sold near the asking price, it would set a record for the coastal city. The estate, situated on a double lot along a pedestrian-only street leading to the beach, includes a multi-level main house and a separate guesthouse, totaling seven bedrooms and ten bathrooms across over 7,600 square feet.

The five-bedroom, seven-bath main home boasts a living room with a fireplace, built-ins, and doors leading to a fireside balcony with swinging sofas. The gourmet kitchen features an eat-in island, a La Cornue range, a wine cooler, two refrigerators, and an adjacent dining area with a barbecue station.

The luxurious master suite offers a walk-in closet, an ocean-view balcony, a spa-like bath with dual vanities, a soaking tub, and a shower. The outdoor area includes a Lynx outdoor kitchen with a pizza oven and two barbecues, a swimming pool, and a spa that can transform into an al fresco entertaining area with the push of a button.
