NFL season is upon us. As we get closer to seeing football back on our screens, football fans (and Taylor Swift fans alike) have several questions going into a new round of games.
Many of the NFL teams’ preseason games take place beginning this coming weekend, including the Kansas City Chiefs, of which, Swift’s partner Travis Kelce is the team’s tight end. With this in mind, Swifties are wondering how soon they can expect to see the “Fortnight” hitmaker on their screens.
The first Chiefs preseason game takes place at Everbank Stadium against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Saturday, Aug. 10 at 6 p.m. CDT. On this day, Swift will be performing in Vienna on her critically-acclaimed Eras Tour.
The second Chiefs preseason game will see the Chiefs taking on the Detroit Lions at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium on Saturday, Aug. 17 at 3 p.m. During this time, Swift’s Eras Tour will make the first of three stops at Wembley Stadium in London.
The final of three Chiefs preseason games will once again take place at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, where the Chiefs will play the Chicago Bears on Thursday, Aug. 22 at 7:20 p.m. CDT. During this time, Swift will be on a break from her Eras Tour, as the last of the three Wembley Stadium shows in London wraps on Tuesday, Aug. 20.
So while Swift won’t be able to attend all three of Kelce’s preseason Chiefs games, she can catch the last one, provided that she arrives back to the states in time.
After the third Wembley Stadium tour stop, Swift will take a hiatus from the Eras Tour until November, so fans just might see her during the games of the regular NFL season.
Swift will resume the tour at Rogers Centre in Toronto for six shows beginning November 14. The Eras Tour will conclude at BC Place in Vancouver on Dec. 8, following a three-night stint.
