The attention-grabbing move of Angelina Jolie’s daughter

Nearly two months after applying to drop her father’s last name, 18-year-old Shiloh has completed the next step in the name change process in California.

According to People, Shiloh posted a piece of news in the Los Angeles Times announcing that she would remove the word “Pitt” from her last name. The news article states that Angelina Jolie’s daughter has applied to change her name to “Shiloh Jolie”.

California law requires that before a judge approves a name change application, the applicant must publish his request in a newspaper for one month. When Shiloh paid for information to be published in the Los Angeles Times, her request to change her name was displayed in the newspaper’s legal notices section.

Previously, when Shiloh filed the request in May, a close source shared with People that Pitt “knew that and felt uncomfortable”. The Hollywood actor was said to be very sad and said that Shiloh giving up his last name was like losing his 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥.

“This is of course not easy for Brad emotionally. He loves and misses his 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren very much,” the source shared.

Recently, People said that the war between Pitt and Jolie did not only happen after the 2016 divorce, but actually existed throughout the years they lived together. The reason is said to be both conflicts in how to educate the 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren.

The actor 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧 in 1963 grew up in a strict, orderly, and disciplined life. Therefore, Pitt is quite strict and wants to set many rules for his 6 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren. On the contrary, Hollywood stars teach their 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren to be independent and free to do what they like, but must put responsibility first.

In other developments, recently, Jolie is said to have asked her ex-husband to stop the fight and give up the estate dispute lawsuit in France.

Brad Pitt’s representative currently refuses to comment on this story. Previously, the actor’s side always emphasized that the estate lawsuit was not related to what happened on the 2016 flight. They claimed Jolie was trying to turn the business dispute into a divorce lawsuit.
