KIM Kardashian is known for her glamorous, over-the-top lifestyle, and the star’s recent accident proves that even her medical emergencies are just as outrageous as her extravagant way of life.

On the latest episode of The Kardashians, Kim showed off her gruesome injury, giving viewers an inside look at her shocking accident and the steps she took to get back into tip-top shape.

The penultimate episode of The Kardashians’ fifth season, Second Chances, aired on Thursday, July 18.

Viewers got a firsthand look at Kris Jenner’s recovery following her hysterectomy, Kourtney gearing up for her family’s trip to Australia, and Kim and Khloe visiting a prison as Kim continues to champion criminal justice reform.

They also may have gotten a little more than they bargained for after Kim revealed she had recently suffered a bizarre – and horrific accident.

Just minutes into the episode, Kim is seen going to a doctor’s appointment to follow up on her injury.

“What happened to your fingers?” a producer asks Kim.

“My big sliding door to my bathroom that opens up and you see the whole window in my bathroom, I was shutting it and there was no latch, so you have to pull the inside of the mechanics out, so I pulled them out like this,” Kim answered, walking down the hall of a medical office.

She then turned to the camera, demonstrating that she used her left hand’s index and middle fingers to pull the mechanics.

“Usually I just stop it with my hand but I pulled it really hard and then Saint ran in with chips and I’m like, ‘It’s 8:30 at night! No chips!'” she feigned screaming.

“And then it went ‘Boom!’ And I was like…uhhh…I literally looked at my hand and fell to the ground,'” she continued.

“I just like grabbed the table and got on my knees cause I just saw all this blood and it was like my bone sticking out a little bit, and I was just like, ‘Get me help!’ I was just like, ‘I need ice!'” Kim added during a confessional.

“Like, I didn’t scream, I didn’t anything, I was just like, ‘Help,'” she added.

After detailing how she got her injury, Kim also gave viewers a first-hand look at what happened to her fingers as a result of the accident.

A title card read, “WARNING: Graphic images in 3, 2, 1…” before showing the horrifying photos.

The camera cuts to Kim speaking with a receptionist, explaining the extent of her injuries.

“Two of em, yeah, they’re both broken,” she tells the receptionist.

“Like I literally just couldn’t do anything but freeze,” the star added in a confessional.

“You can’t even describe the pain but your like whole body goes in shock,” she said.

“It was like more painful than 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡,” she added.

“The like tip broke off, so it’s like a floating piece,” she explains, as the camera cuts to an X-ray image of a floating piece of bone in her finger.

“I know, I wanted to die,” Kim deadpanned, nodding her head.

“And he’s like, ‘It’s a possibility your nail will never grow back, and I was like, ‘Oh come on. Come on. I’m gonna invent a nail implant,'” she said, laughing, referring to her earlier conversation with her doctor.

“Is hyperbaric helping?” a producer asks Kim off-camera.

“I think so. I did four hours yesterday, but how – who has time?” Kim responded as a flashback of Kim getting in a hyperbaric chamber appeared on screen.

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy involves “breathing pure oxygen in a pressurized environment,” according to the Mayo Clinic.

A hyperbaric chamber, also known as a decompression or recompression chamber, is “a cylindrical tube that increases the amount of oxygen in the blood to treat various medical conditions.”

The flashback then shows Kim sitting in the chamber wearing an oxygen mask, before cutting to her doctor’s appointment.

“That looks great!” Dr. John Layke, a plastic surgeon, exclaims, as he examines Kim’s finger.

With the splint removed, viewers got a glimpse at Kim’s injury days after the accident – the top completely cut off with dried, blackened blood surrounding it.

“You think that looks great?” Kim asks, dumbfounded.

“I do, because a lot of that is just a little bit of dried blood and some oozing,” he explains, as Kim asks, “Is it gonna hurt?”

“No, not at all,” Dr. Layke says, as Kim asks, “Are you sure?”

“That’s the good part about peroxide,” he answers, cleaning up her finger.

“I just want to be sure that I will not need this amputated,” Kim asks.

“You will not, one hundred percent,” he responds, as Kim breathes a sigh of relief, smiling at the camera.

“You know what came to mind?” Kim asks, before holding up her phone to show a photo of a poster from Saw II, the sequel to the hit horror film.

The poster shows two dirty fingers, with the fingernails split in half.

“That’s so great,” Dr. Layke replies, chuckling.

“Listen, I think you dodged a bullet,” he added, wrapping up her index and middle fingers together.

“It could have been really bad,” the duo chimed in together.

“I’m not gonna be slowed down,” Kim told the cameras as she was leaving the doctor’s office.

“I would give you the middle finger but I don’t have one,” she added, laughing.
