PGA Tour Champions President Miller Brady is already laying the groundwork for Tiger Woods’ eventual debut on the men’s professional senior golf tour.
Eligible to play Champions Tour events after turning 50 next December, Woods still has over a year to select his senior tour debut event – if he chooses to play right away.
Should Tiger take that route, Brady believes the Mitsubishi Electric Championship in January 2026 would be an “ideal” debut event for the 15-time major champion.
“I just want Tiger to come out here and play a little bit,” Brady said, via Golfweek. “In an ideal situation, Tiger turns 50 and the Mitsubishi Electric (in January 2026) is his first start.
“Maybe you pair him with Fred Couples and they have a great time.”
Woods, currently 48, has struggled to simply walk 72 holes at PGA Tour events in recent years.
Using a cart – an option given to Champions Tour players at most non-major events – could extend Tiger’s career from a health standpoint while also allowing him to stay in better competitive shape should he continue playing the men’s majors.

Whenever Woods ultimately chooses to make his debut on the senior tour, the golf world will be watching.
