Anne Hathaway was seen shooting part of her newest movie, Mother’s Instinct, on a beach in Port Monmouth, New Jersey, on Monday.

The 39-year-old award-winning actress looked beautiful wearing a dark blue vintage gown and a retro-styled wig.

The star was filming a scene while walking along the sand with one of her younger co-stars by her side.

The Princess Diaries actress wore a dark navy dress that fell just past her knees. The top was collared with a ribbed texture and buttons running down to the waistline.

The Oscar winner could be seen smiling in between takes as she prepared to shoot a beach scene with her younger costar.

The actress wore classic, elegant makeup, including light, peach-colored blush and matching colored lipstick.

Her costar wore a dark striped short-sleeved T-shirt, gray pants and shoes to walk along the sand.

Mother’s Instinct is an English-language remake of the 2018 Belgium film, titled Duelles, which was directed by Olivier Masset-Depasse, who is returning to direct this new version.

The psychological thriller also stars Jessica Chastain. The two actresses play best friends and neighbors in the film, with husbands and sons the same age.

They seem to lead perfect lives until a tragedy tears them apart, with the official logline stating, ‘Life’s perfect harmony is suddenly shattered after a tragic accident.’

According to Deadline, two new actors were officially announced to star in the movie, Josh Charles and Anders Danielsen Lie. Charles has starred in films like Dead Poets Society (1989) and the popular series, The Good Wife (2009-2016).

Danielsen Lie is a Norwegian actor and has starred in films such as Reprise (2006), This Summer Feeling (2015), and the acclaimed The Worst Person In The World (2021).

Close friends Chastain and Hathaway are involved in the movie not just as actors, but also as producers.

Anne recently was in the spotlight for her jaw-dropping neon yellow outfit at Bulgari’s Eden, the Garden of Wonder event in Paris earlier this month.
