Sophie Turner went out with Joe Jonas’s ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift for another girls’ night out on Thursday in New York City.

Sophie’s second date with Taylor this week comes as the bitter custody battle between the 27-year-old Game of Thrones star and her 34-year-old husband, Joe, has taken a new turn. She is now suing him in order to move their daughters back to their home country of the United Kingdom.

But Sophie didn’t seem to be thinking about her messy divorce when she met Taylor at the luxury Hotel Barriere Fouquet for dinner just before he did.

She was caught on camera holding a quilted, colorful Louis Vuitton purse in front of her face.

The blonde beauty, who married Joe in 2019, wore a white T-shirt, a gray maxi skirt, and red satin ballet flats to keep things casual.

She walked into the restaurant with a group of close friends.

After a few minutes, Taylor arrived in a black SUV driven by two well-dressed security guards.

The singer dated Joe from July of 2008 until October of the same year, when they broke up. She looked very stylish in a tight black off-the-shoulder top.

It was tucked into a pair of light brown pants that had a black leather belt around the waist.

She walked down the street in black sandals and a black designer purse by Brandon Blackwood that held her most important things.

Taylor and Sophie had a quiet dinner at Via Carota restaurant two nights before they went out to a party until 2 a.m.

The blondes also had “martinis and caviar bumps” at Temple Bar, a popular place for celebrities.

A source told PEOPLE that it “made [Sophie] feel better” and that she liked the fact that it was all so normal.

“They weren’t weird. Normal in every way. One insider said, “Everyone was excited, but they were all normal. Sophie seemed to be having a good time.”

“Taylor is a great friend. Sophie can talk to her about anything,” said another. Sophie felt better after spending time with Taylor.

Sophie went out with her and Joe’s daughter Willa earlier on Thursday. This was after she said in explosive court documents that her ex had “abducted” their kids and caught her by surprise with his divorce filing.

Sophie seemed happy to be out with her oldest daughter, who is three, even though her divorce from the Jonas Brothers singer, 34, is getting more and more nasty. She said that he lied in court papers when he said that a fight over her 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡day was the reason they broke up.

After his ex-wife asked for their kids to be sent back to the UK, Joe said that she “lied” in her petition and that their kids were not taken.

Sophie asked the US District Court for New York to “return 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren to England,” which is where she lives.
