Elon Musk says Biden treats Americans 'like fools' after president meets with GM, Ford execs on electric cars | Fox Business

Musk took to insulting Biden and resorted to petty name-calling after another snub from the White House administration in a feud which dates back months.

Elon Musk - Joe Biden - controversy - Twitter - puppet - rag doll...

Biden tweeted praise for the work of companies producing electric vehicles in America, naming GM (General Motors) and Ford, but omitting Tesla, the world’s largest manufacturer of electric vehicles.

This isn’t the first snub for Tesla from the Biden administration and it is believed to be down to the fact that Tesla is not unionised. Biden has attempted previously to offer purchase incentives for electric vehicles made with unionised labour, and although he hasn’t yet been successful, his stance on non-unionised Tesla may have affected company stock, which has been falling recently.

Reacting to Biden‘s recent tweet, Musk spelt out the company name for him, before going on to call him “a damp sock puppet in human form”. The billionaire also said that the POTUS was “treating the American public like fools”.
