Speculation is rife about LeBron James’ future
There is growing speculation that LeBron James‘ time at the Los Angeles Lakers has come to an end and the franchise are now scrambling to make him stay.
He may be coming towards the end of his career but LeBron still wants to add to his illustrious list of awards and the Lakers have had two tough seasons now where they have been eliminated from the playoffs by the Denver Nuggets.
He has been cutting a very frustrated figure at times and there is speculation about head coach Darvin Ham too.
LeBron has a mental weak spot that the Lakers could exploit to make him stay for another season.
How Bronny can impact LeBron’s Lakers future
It is no secret that LeBron really wants to play in the same team as his son Bronny before his time in the sport comes to an end, and it hasn’t happened yet.
Bronny James entered the 2024 NBA draft, as well as the transfer portal after one year with the USC Trojans.
Reports have surfaced saying if he were to officially enter the draft, the Lakers may be willing to add him to their roster,” per Jovan Buha at The Athletic.
If the Lakers can find a way to include Bronny in the team for next season, that could be the deciding factor in LeBron staying with the team
There was anger from LeBron towards Ham and the other coaches during the playoff series against the Nuggets after they declined to challenge a call and he was seen screaming at them to make the challenge.
He has cut a very frustrated figure which is part of the speculation about his future.
